MDE anticipates building power outages June 27, 2025.  Staff will remain available.  The Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration will install a generator at the Mississippi Department of Education’s (MDE) Central High School Building on Friday, June 27.

The building will experience power outages throughout the day during installation. MDE staff will continue to be available via phone and email; however, intermittent power outages may affect phone and internet systems. If you are unable to reach a staff member by phone, please call back a short time later.  The MDE apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
